We want everyone who is thinking about surrogacy to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.
What standard do we aim for?
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Text colors are chosen to pass AA contrast on our backgrounds; every page has one main heading and a logical heading order; menus and forms work with a keyboard; and images carry text alternatives.
How do we test?
Automated checks with axe and Lighthouse on every release, and manual keyboard and screen reader checks on the forms.
What are the known limits?
Videos will carry captions when they are published. Some documents linked from this site, such as PDFs from third parties, may not meet the same standard.
