Can I still be a surrogate if I am on Medicaid or WIC?
The short answer
No. Receiving government assistance is a disqualifier at PLS and at most agencies, because a surrogate's compensation and medical coverage must not rely on public programs and because of the risk of benefit loss. You can apply after you are no longer enrolled.
