Hard questions · Surrogates
How many embryos will be transferred?
The short answer
Usually one. ASRM recommends single embryo transfer for gestational carriers in nearly all cases because twin pregnancies carry much higher preterm and cesarean risk. Your contract states the maximum you agree to; PLS does not match surrogates with parents who insist on double transfers against clinic advice.
